Special Olympics Montana Big Sky Area Games

We are stoked to host the Special Olympics Montana’s second Big Sky Area Winter Games on February 28, 2011. This annual event is a great way for the Big Sky community to help support the ongoing efforts put on by the Special Olympics community.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. There will be over 75 athletes and coaches from Big Sky Area and Yellowstone Valley Area coming to Moonlight to participate in alpine skiing, snowshoeing and Nordic skiing events. Come out and cheer on the athletes and help support our community.
